"The fast and very informative tool"
This is a great program for us high-end users. The only people who have a problem still work wiht dial-up. Plain and simple you use dsl, cable, or satelite this is for you. Just saving the downloads from a power outage is worth it. By the way I run WinXP on all 5 of my machines and have not had a single problem on any of them! Actually this is the best download manager I've never seem before, I tried with some other suposely fast and easy to use but this one has all what I espected. I have it for a couple of month and I dont change it for any other.

"Useful resume feature"
Works excellent, without the annoying and unnecessary frills of some other download managers. I use this product where my internet connection is spotty at best. It's acceleration functions really speed up my downloads, and the resume function is a must! Works excellent, without the annoying and unnecessary frills of some other download managers.

"Nice product"
I really like IDM because u can stop the download when u want! on my connection iv had up to 1000kbps and im on cable. The designers of this programme is the most genious programmers in the world. any thing to make it go faster is great. It is a such wonderfull programme to set up on your laptop. Also I find it very easy to get much more benefet than from Accelerator plus or any other software out there.

"After the purchase of Internet Download Manager I can download virtually anything in the Internet"
Download speeds with this software are fast, significantly faster than GetRight. Resume feature is working well in Getright and IDM. But when I was using Getright, I was unable to download software from some sites, in particular *.sun.com. I have no problems with IDM now. Let the numbers tell the story. At home I normally download at around 150 kb/s without using a download manager. With IDM I consistently downloaded at 500 kb/s and maxed out at 700 kb/s+. UNBELIEVABLE!!! This program is fantastic.

"It saves my time"
This is one of the best tools I have found that will speed up a dial-up download, fast, easey, and fun to use. For a reason which I do not understand, probably it was me, I started to get a Download Manager Error. "Connection to server failed (Err: timed out) while trying to download". I contacted Tonec support team and they helped me to figure out this very quickly! It was because I had installed Norton Internet Security and didn't enable IDM in its settings. Great support! And the great program! I would like to subscribe for updates, but I will pai with a bankcheck, is this possible. Waiting for reply... Sincerly Charlie

"Faster than Go!zilla"
The download speed seems more dependent on the web site selected. With 1meg sevice, i am noticing the download speed faster than normal - at 7/8 mbs/min rate! IDM is also very good if you have a lot of disconnections. If you get disconnected by your provider or network, when you reconnect to the site, Internet Download Manager can easily resume the download for you!

"The best download speed-up utility ever."
I have cable internet, so I didn't think it would really speed up my download, but I decided to try it anyway. I downloade a 67MB file in 2.5 minutes with this utility. To download this same file with the normal default windows downloader, it took me 10-15 minutes. This product really works! I have tried GetRight, FlashGet and Go!Zilla, and IDM is my favourite. My IDM works fine with Windows XP Pro. However, I upgraded my computer from Windows ME with IDM already installed, so that may be why. I think they should re-develop it to look good in Windows XP, instead of users having to use the skins to make it not look like in a kids cartoon! But, all in all, an invaluable program. How about making other skins? Anyway IDM is the most friendly thing i ever saw. It is by far the best DM Around.

"Definately worth the download"
Internet Download Manager program was recommended to me by one of my friends who is a CS major attending college right now. I downloaded it, and it is definately worth it. I'm sure that this is one of the best. The program speeds up your downloads by quite a good amount, and enables you to pause them for finishing later.

"excellent product"
Internet Download Manager doesn't suck memory, doesn't crash, and excellent in resuming of downloads. I wouldn't use anything else. The new version is the best I have ever used. I have used this Download Manager for years. Then I went and tried other download managers that were better at the time. Now I have come back to IDM because its the best that there is, bar none. I like it's ability to open eight download streams even if the file is only available from one source. Star downloader which is add free does not have such capability. This ability saturates your available bandwidth, for maximum performance every time. I have a P4 1.3 GHz 512MB of RDRAM running Win XP Pro and Broadband. My transfer rate with Broadband is twice that specified by my ISP. Ive had no problem what so ever with this product, unlike other XP users. Don't know what their problem is. Downside, will not integrate into the Opera 7.01 as claimed, so I have use IE 6. Had to register, can't stand add were eating my bandwidth, small though it appite is.
